Sound Bath Healing at Mindful Body and Skin

 At Mindful Body and Skin, our Sound Bath sessions in Minnesota offer more than just relaxation — they’re a journey inward. Using the powerful vibrations of crystal quartz singing bowls, we help you reconnect with your body, release stress, and find your inner calm. 


A Sound Bath is a deeply immersive self-care experience where you’re “bathed” in healing sound waves. As we play crystal singing bowls and other instruments, their overlapping tones create a soothing vibration that flows through your body — calming your nervous system, slowing the mind, and bringing you into a meditative state of peace.

You don’t need to “do” anything — just lie down, breathe, and receive. It’s self-care for your soul.


  Here’s what you can expect from your session at Mindful Body and Skin:

  • A short welcome and check-in to explore your goals or intentions
    You’ll be invited to lie down comfortably or sit — whichever feels best
  • We begin with guided breathwork to help you relax and settle in
  • The crystal bowls and healing instruments begin playing, allowng sound waves to wash over your body

As the frequencies entrain with your energy, your body enters a state of deep relaxation and cellular healing

Do I need any experience to join a sound bath?

Not at all! Sound baths are perfect for beginners and experienced meditators alike. You don’t need to know how to meditate — simply come with an open mind, relax, and let the sound guide you.

What should I wear or bring to a sound bath session?

Wear cozy, comfortable clothes you can relax in. You may want to bring a water bottle, yoga mat, blanket, and pillow — anything that helps you feel supported while lying or sitting during the session.

How long does a sound bath last?

Our sound bath sessions typically last 60–75 minutes, including a short welcome and integration time at the end. Group and private sessions may vary slightly in length.

Can a sound bath help with anxiety or stress?

Yes! Many clients find that sound baths help reduce symptoms of anxiety, stress, and emotional tension. The soothing frequencies help calm the nervous system and encourage deep relaxation.

Is a sound bath safe during pregnancy or for people with health conditions?

Sound baths are generally safe, but we recommend checking with your doctor if you're pregnant, have epilepsy, a pacemaker, or other health concerns. Let us know in advance so we can tailor the session to your needs.

Can I fall asleep during the session?

Absolutely — and it’s totally okay! Many people drift into a light sleep or deep meditative state. Your body still receives the full benefits of the sound healing, whether you're awake or asleep.
